Barnwell County is now accepting applications for the full-time position of a clerk in the Voters’ Registration Office. Under general supervision, the clerk will organize and assist in managing various aspects of voter registration and election procedures following current election laws and will perform routine to moderately complex and specialized duties in support of the voter registration and elections operations. The clerk reports to the Director of Voter Registration & Elections and performs related administrative and clerical duties as directed.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Must have a high school diploma and have extensive knowledge in computer applications and technology. Must have effective communication skills and abilities to meet and work well with the public and work in high stress situations. Must be detail-oriented and complete tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
